It started with old photos and postcards — the love of finding and researching something small that holds a whole story. That led to matchbooks, then patches. Paper Thief is named after my dog, Eddie (he'll eat your napkin, not your food), but the obsession is mine.
Every hat is handstitched in Baltimore by yours truly (me, Katie). Patches are sourced from thrift stores, estate sales, and flea markets — some come with their history, some are a mystery. Either way, you're getting something that existed before us and will outlast the trends.
