Vintage Corvette patch handstitched onto a neon blue OTTO-brand foam trucker hat.
The original Corvette emblem was designed four days before its debut at the Waldorf-Astoria in 1953 and included an American flag — but Chevrolet's legal department flagged that it's against US law to use the American flag on a commercial product. They had four days to redesign it. The designers decided to use the fleur-de-lis to represent the French ancestry of the Chevrolet family, and the three lines below it are often interpreted as representing the three Chevrolet brothers: Louis, Arthur, and Gaston. This patch dates to roughly the mid-80s to early 90s.

Care & Maintenance
To care for your hat, spot-clean gently with cool water and a mild soap (avoid soaking the foam front or putting it in the washing machine). Reshape and air-dry. Store it brim-up to help it keep its structure.
If the foam gets dented or bends, a handheld steamer works great to relax it back into shape — just steam lightly and let it cool.
